The white wine Grauburgunder Spätlese trocken im Eichenfass gereift, vintage 2018 from the winery Alde Gott Winzer Schwarzwald has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine from Baden in Germany.
Strong golden yellow in colour. Luscious candied fruit scents, wood, cassata, rhubarb and very ripe Charentais melon. Massive on the palate, some wood tannins and already present toasted woody flavours, concentrated acidity, plump body, strong alcohol. Solidly composed.
