The red wine Südtirol Cabernet Löwengang DOC, vintage 2010 from the winery Alois Lageder has been rated in 2014 with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Carmenère, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Sparkling, intense ruby with a slight garnet sheen. Intense, clearly defined nose, opens with light tobacco notes, then cranberries and dark currants. Round and interwoven on the palate, opens with full-bodied tannins, beautiful mature notes, supple and dense, long finish, lots of ripe berries.
