The red wine Altaïr, vintage 2010 has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser und Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah from the region Central Valley in Chile.
Rather closed. Aromas of roasted coffee, thyme, liquorice, and with dark berry undertones. A massive palate with some fruit, slight oiliness, very fine-grained tannins, lots of juice and a delicate thread of acidity, powerful body, homogeneous drive with good concentration, a mineral tinge, and an ethereal resinous finish. It has good length, and combines charm with elegant drinking flow.
