Tasting from 16.04.2020: Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach

Deep garnet, purple reflections. Intense fresh wild berryish fruit, ripe plums, hints of raspberry pulp, in the background a dark slate savouriness, subtle savoury notes of fine oak. Complex, taut texture, pronounced in fruit with red berryish nuances, silky, supporting tannins, perfect balance and finely structured. Complex and clear as only wines from really old vines can be, lingers for a very long time. An incredibly nuanced expression of its provenance, a fantastic wine that you will never forget. A privilege that unfortunately only a few wine lovers will be able to share, as not even 2500 bottles of this wonderful red wine were filled.
