Deep dark ruby, opaque core, purple reflections, faint brightening on the rim. Dry herbs, blackberry and blueberry confit, fine wood savouriness, smoky slate notes in the background, candied violet. Substantial, fruit expression, cherry, closely meshed, finesse-rich structure, ripe tannins, lively style, mineral-salty, very long. Safe ageing potential.
