The white wine Pessoal Branco Douro DOC, vintage 2012 from the winery Alves de Sousa has been rated in 2019 by Peter Moser with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Gouveio from the region Douro in Portugal.
Light greenish yellow with silver reflections. On the nose, ripe yellow tropical fruit, a touch of blossom honey, candied orange zest, with some Turkish honey underneath. The palate brings a juicy, sweet pear note, balanced by the elegant acid arc, and toasty aromas in the finish. Pineapple emerges on the aftertaste. This is already well developed.
