The white wine Friulano Friuli Isonzo DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Amandum has been rated in 2023 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Friulano from the region Friuli-Venezia Giulia in Italy.
Rich, intense golden yellow. Opens with notes of forest honey and brown butter, plus yellow apple and some grapefruit. Juicy on the nose, then shows some green components, seems quite unbalanced between strongly matured and greenish, delicate bitter note on the finish.
