The red wine Stallion Thracien Valley PGI, vintage 2012 from the winery Angel's Estate has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Syrah, Merlot from the region Thracian lowlands in Bulgaria.
Bright crimson with purple reflections and broad brightening on the rim. Inviting aromas with hints of fresh cherry cordial and vanilla with fresh blackberries and background notes of cassis along with a subtle herbal savouriness. Powerful, juicy and elegant on the palate, fine sweet berry flavours with well integrated savoury oak notes. The long lasting finish has a touch of nougat. Definite ageing potential.
