The red wine Bricco San Pietro Barolo DOCG, vintage 2015 from the winery Anna Maria Abbona has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kierm, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Nebbiolo from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Bright ruby core. Very clear and appealing nose of savoury herbs, lemon thyme and orange zest followed by cranberries, fresh cherries and rose petals. Gripping, tight-knit tannin, rich bold concentrated mid palate, but becomes a little more loose knit on the finish and slightly drying.
