The red wine Mezzo Monte Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Antiche Terre Venete has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Bright ruby with a light garnet edge. Opens with savoury notes of white pepper, behind it a lot of pickled cherries. Round and supple on the approach, altogether however very trimmed of sweetness, quite short on the finish.
