The red wine Rosso di Montepulciano DOC, vintage 2019 from the winery Antico Colle has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Merlot from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright garnet red. Opens on nuances of ripe plum, dried fig, also some cinnamon, candied orange in the background. Fresh on the palate, glides through the palate with a certain light-footedness, full-bodied tannins, compact, still somewhat youthful, minimal drying on the finish.
