The red wine Chiusa di Pannone Sagrantino di Montefalco DOCG, vintage 2016 from the winery Antonelli San Marco has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 94 Falstaff points.
It has a dark ruby purple colour, with an impenetrable core. There are complex and fragrant aromas on the nose, with fine nuances of violet and rose blossom, rich cherry and raspberry fruit, as well as vanilla, and spicy blackberry. On the palate it is balanced and polished, with grippy tight-knit tannins, plenty of power, elegant resinous notes, and it has a firm finish.
