Deep, dark ruby red with delicate purple reflections. Subtly alcoholic on the nose, some dark-berry fruit, lots of earth and leather. Gripping on the palate, powerful, with a lot of drive and a slightly bitter undertone. Plenty of tannins on the finish, surrounded by gripping acidity. Definitely wants to age.
