The red wine Poppone Trevenezie IGT, vintage 2018 from the winery Antonutti has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Stafffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Pignolo
Bright ruby purple. On the nose, cinnamon, orange zest, clove, preserved cherry, light hints of rum steeped fruit, dried violet. Hearty on the palate with a perceptible sweetness that does suit it, individual, also chocolate notes, then slightly gruelling on the finish.
