The red wine Suolo IGT, vintage 2002 from the winery Argiano has been rated in 2005 with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Intense, dark garnet red; shows pronounced smoky notes on the nose, clearly mature, of hazelnuts and licorice; surprisingly round on the palate with dense tannins, very tightly woven, of elderberries and tobacco, the finish unfortunately clearly characterized by wood.
