The red wine Solengo IGT, vintage 2004 from the winery Argiano has been rated in 2006 with 94 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Sauvignon from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Sparkling, rich ruby purple; compact, dense nose, initially showing fine spicy notes, then lots of cassis, some licorice; very dense in the attack, lots of ripe blackberry and cassis fruit, sparkles on the palate, then shows a lot of taut tannin in the back, hearty and gripping, with a lot of depth, very persistent in the finish.
