Bright lustrous ruby with a garnet rim. There are aromas of fresh sour cherry on the nose, plus violet, mallow blossom, some poppy seed and a hint of malt in the background. Racy acidity characterizes the palate, which has tension, a sinewy structure and grippy tannins. It has a core of pure fruit and shows plenty of juiciness on the finish.
