The sparkling wine Asti DOCG Extra Secco from the winery Arione has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Moscato from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Medium-bodied, radiant lemon yellow. Opens on the nose with white flowers and peach, also exotic nuances of papaya and some honey on the finish. Juicy on the palate, fresh on the tongue, somewhat coarse mousse, clear, lively, but somewhat bitter and drying on the finish.
