The red wine Cima Barbera del Monferrato Superiore DOCG, vintage 2009 from the winery Azienda Agricola Accornero Cà Cima has been rated in 2016 by Axel Biesler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Freisa from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Hazelnut cream, milk chocolate and dried cherries create a bacchanalian-baroque bouquet, the aroma of which alone is like a chocolate dessert. Its taste, on the other hand, is surprisingly fresh, the tannins spicy and the length demanding. The wine demands a lot from its drinker. Time will tell?
