The red wine SP68 Rosso Terre Siciliane IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery Arianna Occhipinti has been rated in 2019 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Frappato, Nero d’Avola from the region Sicily in Italy.
Bright, rich ruby red. Very savoury aromas of herbs and meaty nuances, opens up after a little time to reveal, hints of anchovy, dark chocolate and cherry compote. Fresh and straightforward on the palate, flows beautifully over the tongue, juicy and fruity mid-palate, with lively tannins on the finish.
