The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Le Quare, vintage 2013 from the winery Gamba has been rated in 2018 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella , Molinara from the region Veneto in Italy.
Intense , dark ruby red with slight brightening on the rim. Fragrant nose of dried rose petals, strawberries and wild berries underpinned by nuances of cedar. Very juicy on the palate and with fine interplay between acidity, fruit and freshness, very polished tannins on the mid-palate, well integrated wood, firm drive on the finish.
