The red wine Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Riserva DOC, vintage 2009 from the winery Quintarelli Giuseppe has been rated in 2020 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 99 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Corvina, Corvinone Veronese, Rondinella from the region Veneto in Italy.
Powerfully shining ruby. Inviting and flint clean nose, shows many facets, dark cherry juice, black tea, behind it fine savoury components. Starts almost hesitantly on the palate, spreads out continuously, clear fruit, seems fresh, no trace of overripe, fine-meshed, polished tannin, coated with texture.
