Tasting from 27.08.2020: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Deep dark, rich garnet with lighter rim. On the nose; lots of spice, pepper, allspice, leather, tobacco, followed by dark berries, plum jelly. On the palate; juicy and with a crisp acidity, demonstrates a pleasant density, balanced at first, lacks a bit of precision and too much oak spice on the finish.
