The orange wine »Orange« unfiltriert trocken, vintage 2022 from the winery Bärmann has been rated in 2024 by Ulrich Sautter with 92+ Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Scheurebe from the region Baden in Germany.
Subtle amber colour. Quince and quince peel on the nose, tart pear, wormwood, dried sage, some salty lemon. The attractive side of the "orange" genre, with a seaweed and freshness, grippy phenolics, the acidity carries through to the finish, distinctive tartness. Beautiful.
