The red wine Crano Syrah Cortona DOC, vintage 2016 from the winery Baldetti has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Bright ruby red with a brilliant core. On the nose there are aromas of juicy cherries, blood oranges, forest fruits, but also green pepper and delicate floral notes. On the palate there is a beautiful fruit sweetness and a fine texture. Flavours are of blood oranges, opening elegantly and with finesse. There is a lively acidity and minimal drying on the finish.
