The port NV »Lagarada Ruby Reserva« Port from the winery Barão de Vilar has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 88 Falstaff points.
On the nose blueberry juice and black cherry, a touch of aged character, plus yeasty and also peppery undertones. In the mouth the wine flows viscously, very fruity and smooth, with low tannins and bright acidity, the strong alcohol is nicely integrated. An approachable, fruit-driven port with undertones of caramel on the finish.
