The sekt Pinot brut, vintage 2016 from the winery Baron von Maydell has been rated in 2020 by Ulrich Sautter with 90 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Pinot Noir from the region Baden in Germany.
A berry focused Pinot Noir fruit on the nose, juicy and finely nerved on the palate, with a certain volume, but still fresh and juicy, fine mousse, yeasty and savoury on the finish, very clear in the aromas and neatly trimmed for family enjoyment.
