Tasting from 03.02.2022: Anne Krebiehl

Grown at altitude on the steep slopes of Banghoek, this is a picture of elegance. Tar is the first notion followed by coal, but then a gorgeous lift of mint accentuates the cassis fruit. The palate is sinuous, and both the finesse ad firmness of the tannins strike immediately. This tannic structure holds firm to this pure, charming, vivaciously fresh and dark berry fruit. There is elegance and exuberance in equal measure. A totally striking, beautiful, elegant wine with exquisite, beautiful balance.
