The red wine Generala Nizza Riserva DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Bersano has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem & Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
Rich ruby, black core. Opens with fine spicy notes, some cedar, plus lots of cocoa and dark cherry. Very precise opening, finely worked out fruit, rich cherry, plus finely-meshed, very well integrated tannin, shows good flow.
