The red wine Grand Cuvee, vintage 2019 from the winery Bessa Valley has been rated in 2025 by Benjamin Herzog & Dominik Vombach with 92 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Merlot, Petit Verdot, Syrah, Cabernet Sauvignon
Dark fruit, plum, preserved cherries, plus a somewhat austere spiciness, game, juniper, some pepper and liquorice. Rather full-bodied on the palate, again with dark fruit, finely polished tannins and ripe acidity. Lingers for a long time.
