The red wine La Collina Syrah, vintage 2021 from the winery Bilancia Limited has been rated in 2025 by Benjamin Herzog, Dominik Vombach with 96 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Syrah from the region Hawkes Bay in New Zealand.
Intense bouquet with concentrated flavours. Notes of black tea, pomegranate, dark berries and dried cherries. There are also floral hints of lavender, some graphite and liquorice as well as ink. Concentrated and deep on the palate, with dark fruit and fine-grained, noticeable tannins. Long finish, great ageing potential.
