The red wine Vallocaia Vino Nobile di Montepulciano Riserva DOCG, vintage 2018 from the winery Bindella - Tenuta Vallocaia has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape varieties Sangiovese, Colorino from the region Tuscany in Italy.
Clear ruby with garnet reflections. Spicy and fresh on the nose with aromas of stewed cherry, saddle leather, coffee, cinnamon powder and liquorice. Smooth on the palate, with velvety tannins, powerful and mouth-filling, with concentrated fruit and some bitter almond on a very long finish.
