The red wine Planties Rot Mitterberg IGT, vintage 2017 from the winery St. Quirinus has been rated in 2021 by Othmar Kiem und Simon Staffler with 89 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Cabernet Cortis from the region Alto Adige in Italy.
Delicate garnet red with orange-red reflections. Delicately perfumed aromas of preserved wild raspberries, prunes and Amarena cherry, with cardamom and the finest nougat. Juicy on the palate, cooked fruit in the mouth, fine tannins, structured, tears off a little at the back.
