The red wine Romagna Sangiovese Superiore Riserva DOC, vintage 2018 from the winery Bissoni has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 91 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Sangiovese from the region Emilia-Romagna in Italy.
Dark ruby red with slight rim lightening. On the nose in the foreground there are toasted notes from oak ageing, cotton candy, watermelon, strawberry and in the background currants and a touch of mint. Seemingly very full on the palate, well integrated tannins, also well balanced, juicy, balsamic notes, with drive on the finish.
