The red wine Cincuenta y cinco, vintage 2013 from the winery Bodega Chacra has been rated in 2017 by Peter Moser und Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the region Río Negro in Argentina.
Almost a "German" pinot noir nose. Aromas of sweet almond, worn tire, bay leaf, and with aeration raspberry and juniper. Soft creamy palate impression with mellow melted tannins still showing a remnant of earlier graininess. The acidity slowly increasing over the course of the palate but remaining restrained overall. In the transition to the finish the wine shows stout reserves and a tactile mineral component, and should develop into spicy fullness in the next few years. Denser than the 2014, but also somewhat less focused.
