Prominent use of wood, clove, cinnamon, sandalwood, but also sour cherry, prune, and blueberry. A silky, well-nigh sweet palate, viscous underpinnings, with emphatically fine-grained tannins and a brilliantly intense, clear finish. Alcohol content completely integrated with the juicy fruit. A classy wine, and accessible too.
