Tasting Notes
Restrained bouquet with notes of ivy, bay leaf and ripe, fresh berry fruit. Plum, blackberry and elderberry. On the palate elegant, soft impression, has power without being obtrusive. Slightly noticeable tannin and long, mineral finish. Lots of fruit, slightly salty impression.
More about the tastingDark ruby, purple reflections, subtle brighter rim. Initially somewhat restrained, a touch of fine oak, ripe cherry, some sea buckthorn, orange zest, and with aeration dark minerality and delicate hints of dry spices. On the palate complex, tight texture, dark berry fruit, tight pithy tannins that are well integrated, mineral, endowed with good fruit, energetic, pleasantly cool style, with a very good overall balance. A vin de garde.
