The wine shows beautiful dark berry aromas of blueberry and blackberry, with a pinch of black pepper. In the mouth, it's full and almost oily, with the fine-grained, grainy tannin coating the palate, so that the rather mild acidity can nevertheless provide sufficient support to carry it all. A dense, rich red with certain ageing potential.
