On the nose: blueberry, stewed apple, pencil sharpener, a hint of balsamic herbal savouriness. Also red and blackcurrant. In the mouth, the wine shows a mellow, dry tannin, the high alcohol is somewhat noticeable, a hint of sweetness counteracts the (alcohol-induced) bitterness. Good, herbal-spicy aromas and very good length.
