The red wine Val Sotillo Finca Buenavista Ribera del Duero DO, vintage 2013 from the winery Bodegas Ismael Arroyo has been rated in 2017 by Axel Biesler und Ulrich Sautter with 88 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tempranillo from the region Castile and Leon in Spain.
The path was the right one, with plenty of agile acidity and fresh fruit. A distinctive spiciness also greeted us on the way. However, the massive extraction and harsh tannins unfortunately had little to offer in the end. Happy ending postponed?
