Buttery and slightly caramel-like notes (from the oak) waft from the glass. The palate shows excellent extraction: The tannic structure is very dense, yet ripe and not drying; the smooth and juicy foundation of the palate makes the wine very drinkable even now, although it undoubtedly possesses great aging potential. Limestone minerality and body provide tremendous length.

Buttery and slightly caramel-like notes (from the wood) emanate from the glass. The palate demonstrates very good extraction: the tannin structure is very dense, yet ripe and not drying, the supple and juicy foundation of the palate structure makes the wine easy to drink even now, although it undoubtedly has great potential for further ageing. The chalky minerality and substance carry an enormous length.
