Very closed, mineral reductive notes. Herbal and spice notes following aeration, woodruff. Firm tannins in a suitable, medium-high quantity, dense but not over-concentrated or alcoholic mid-palate, very good balance, fresh and unaffected, a hint of menthol on the finish (and there is indeed some Cabernet Sauvignon in the blend).
