Deep, bright ruby in colour with purple reflections and a broad and bright ochre rim. A multi-faceted nose with aromas of ripe plum, a touch of blackberry confit and some nougat underpinned by subtle spice. The palate is juicy, with fine acidity, pleasant wood spice, notes of fresh red cherry, subtly chocolatey, with a long, minerally finish. An elegant classic Rioja.
