Tasting Notes

93
Tasting from 22.05.2014

Deep, dark ruby-garnet colour, opaque core, delicate watery rim. Opulent bouquet of dried plums and candied orange zest, reminiscent of ripe Châteauneuf, sweet with a hint of nougat, preserved cherries in the background. Full-bodied, somewhat flinty, red forest berry confit, fine fine wood savouriness, well-integrated tannins, good freshness, already developed and round, somewhat powerful, but still lacks convincing length at the moment, mineral nuances in the finish.
