Von über 100 jährigen Reben und einem Ertrag von nur 2500kg pro Hektar, werden die Trauben von Hand in Kisten zu 15kg geerntet. Es werden nur wenige Trauben entrappt, die meisten finden Ihren Weg als ganze Trauben in den Gärtank. Der Wein wird 26 Monate in neuen französischen Barriques ausgebaut und reift danach noch drei Jahre in der Flasche bevor er in den Verkauf gelangt. Bodegas Nabal ist das neue Projekt der Familie Navarro Balbás, die nach einer langen Karriere von mehr als 20 Jahren als Winzer in Ribera del Duero und Förderer der Gründung der D.O. Arlanza mit ihren Lerma-Weinen, dieses wichtige Projekt im historischen Herzen der D.O. Ribera del Duero Gumiel de Izán - Burgos gestartet hat.

Dark, warm fruit, plum, dark cherries, blackberries, balsamic nuances, subtle cocoa savouriness. Beautiful fullness on the palate, velvety with ripe, noticeable tannins and acidity. Appropriate length.
