Aus über 100 jährigen Reben vinifiziert und 26 Monate in neuen französischen Barriques ausgebaut. Duftet nach reifen, dunklen Kirschen und Heidelbeeren, feiner Lakritze und geröstetem Kakao. Sehr komplexer und kräftiger Gaumen, mit reifen und runden Gerbstoffen sowie viel Fruchtschmelz. Langer aromatischer Nachhall mit feinen Röstaromen.

Ripe fruity nose, dried plums, bacon pears, dried cherries, with barrel savouriness, vanilla, liquorice and cocoa. Beautiful fullness on the palate, soft and full-bodied. Ripe, noticeable acidity and ripe, fine tannins with a lingering finish.
