The red wine Roda I Reserva Rioja DOCa, vintage 2005 from the winery Bodegas Roda has been rated in 2011 by Peter Moser with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Tempranillo from the region La Rioja in Spain.
Deep ruby colour. Noble bouquet, dark fruit, blackberry, some mocha. Silky palate, concentrated, with noble fruit, animating acid freshness and fine, tightly woven tannins, good tension, rather young, persistent, a highly elegant food companion with some ageing potential.
