Tasting Notes

Tasting from 28.11.2019: Benjamin Herzog und Dominik Vombach

Full and fruity bouquet with notes of ripe blackberry and raspberry, plus spicy-mineral hints. The palate is polished with a balanced acidity, fine spice and fresh wild berries on the finish.

More about the tasting

Dark ruby, purple reflections, faint brightening on the rim. Delicate yeasty underlaid black cherry fruit, fine leafy savouriness, nuances of orange zest and ripe plum. Juicy body, balanced, chocolaty touch, round tannins, fine acidity, has a good freshness, remains adherent, some dark nougat on the finish, chalky minerality. Will benefit from further bottle ageing.
