The white wine »Bergstern« Dorndorf Rappental Weißburgunder Auslese, vintage 2021 from the winery Weingut Klaus Böhme has been rated in 2023 by Ulrich Sautter with 93 Falstaff points.
Ripe, complex late harvest fruit on the nose: mirabelle plum, ripe pear and fresh walnut. On the palate it appears to be a powerful wine, but not overflowing in volume; acidity and salinity balance a sturdy body, a layer of smoothness gives the wine a generous feel without being oily or fattening because of it.
