The red wine Bionzo Barbera d'Asti Superiore DOCG, vintage 2017 from the winery Boeri Vini has been rated in 2022 by Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler with 93 Falstaff points. It is a wine made from the grape variety Barbera from the region Piedmont in Italy.
It has a deep dark and almost impenetrable ruby red colour. On the nose there are aromas of bitter chocolate, walnut, leather, a hint of wet stone, some cassis, and slightly resinous wild berry. It has a gentle fruit expression on the palate, and it is very dry and precise, with plenty of tannins and power. It is a total ricochet, and it will age well for a long time.
